Refresh Macro

            Key Point: Refresh Macro does not read or collect any content shown on your screen. The Accessibility Service is used only to detect the foreground browser and tap its refresh button.
        

1. Information We Collect

Refresh Macro is designed with privacy as a core principle and handles only minimal information:

Settings you enter: The refresh interval, saved links (title, URL, chosen browser), and the on-screen message toggle are stored only in your device's local storage and are never transmitted.
Screen content: The app does not read, store, or transmit the contents of any browser screen.

2. Accessibility Service Usage

This app uses the Android Accessibility Service for its core feature — automatically refreshing the browser tab:

It detects which supported browser (Chrome, Samsung Internet, etc.) is currently in the foreground.
It taps that browser's refresh button to reload the page.
It does not read, collect, or transmit any text, images, or other content shown on screen.
You can disable or revoke the Accessibility permission at any time in system settings.

3. Permissions We Request

Accessibility Service: To detect the foreground browser and operate its refresh control (core feature).
Internet: Used solely to serve advertisements. The refresh feature itself does not require internet access.
Notifications & Foreground Service: Used to show a status notification indicating that auto-refresh is running.

4. Third-Party Services

Refresh Macro uses the following third-party service:

Google AdMob: Serves advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

5. How We Use Information

The information collected (app settings and saved links) is used solely on your device to provide the app's functionality. It is not sold or shared.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All settings and saved links are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated when necessary. Any changes will be posted on this page.
