Gem Eraser is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal information:

Image data: Images you select for watermark removal are processed entirely on your device. They are never transmitted to any server.
App preferences: Settings such as theme preference and processing history count are stored only on your device's local storage.
Purchase information: If you purchase the premium plan, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment details.
Usage & diagnostics data: We use Google Firebase to collect anonymous app usage events and crash diagnostics. This data helps us improve the app and is not used to personally identify you.

2. Permissions We Request

Gem Eraser requests only the minimum permissions necessary:

Photo/Media access: Required to read images for watermark removal and to save processed images to your device.
Internet: Used solely for serving advertisements and processing in-app purchases. Image processing does not require internet access.

3. Offline Processing

All watermark detection and removal processing is performed 100% on your device using local algorithms. Specifically:

No images are uploaded to any cloud service or remote server.
No image data is transmitted over the network.
The watermark removal engine operates entirely offline.
The app functions fully without an internet connection (ads and purchases excluded).

4. Third-Party Services

Gem Eraser uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob: Serves advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

All local data (preferences, processing history) is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.
Processed images are saved only where you choose to save them on your device.
