Cloak is designed with privacy as a core principle. All data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

• Locked app list: Stored only on device internal storage
• PIN/Pattern credentials: Encrypted and stored only on device
• Intruder photos: Captured and stored only on device internal storage
• Access logs: Stored only on device internal storage
• Settings and preferences: Stored only on device internal storage

2. Permissions We Request

Cloak requests the following permissions to provide its core functionality:

• Accessibility Service: Required to detect when locked apps are launched and display the lock screen. This service does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
• Camera: Used only for the intruder detection feature. Photos are stored locally and are never uploaded to any server.
• Device Admin (optional): Used only for uninstall protection feature if enabled by the user.

3. How We Use Information

All information is processed locally on your device for the following purposes:

• To protect your selected apps with lock screens
• To capture intruder photos when incorrect unlock attempts are made
• To maintain access logs for your review

No data is transmitted to external servers or third parties.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored on your device and can be managed as follows:

• Intruder photos can be deleted from within the app
• Access logs can be cleared from within the app
• All data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app

5. Third-Party Sharing

Cloak does not share any user information with third parties. All data remains on your device.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• PIN and pattern credentials are encrypted
• All data is stored in the app's private storage area
• No network transmission of personal data

7. Children's Privacy

Cloak does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
